Russian shot putter Kolodko stripped of 2012 Olympic silver due to doping

GENEVA, August 20. /TASS/. Russia’s shot putter Evgeniya Kolodko has been stripped of the 2012 Olympic silver for failing her anti-doping test, the International Olympic Committee has said.

The decision which enters into force immediately was taken after the re-tests of doping samples from the 2012 Olympic Games. "Reanalysis of Kolodko’s samples from London 2012 resulted in a positive test for the prohibited substances dehydrochlormethyltestosterone (turinabol) and ipamorelin," the statement says.
