RIO DE JANEIRO, August 13. /TASS/. Russian women’s volleyball team beat Japan in the group stage of the Olympic tournament in Rio de Janeiro 3-0. The fourth victory in a row takes Russia to the quarterfinals. In the previous three matches Russia outplayed Argentina, South Korea and Cameroon.

In the final match of the group stage Russia will clash with Brazil on August 15.

The Rio de Janeiro Olympics will end on August 21.
