Edson Arantes do Nascimento, known as Pele was born on October 23, 1940. Pele played for Brazil national team from 1957 to 1971 and won with this team three world Championships (1958, 1962, 1970). In total Pele scored 1281 goals in 1363 games, for which he was listed in the Guinness World Records for most career goals scored in footbal.
