SINGAPORE, September 18. /TASS/. Russian Formula One racer Daniil Kvyat won a free practice session of the F1 Grand Prix for the first time in his career on Friday.

Kvyat set the fastest time of 1:46.142 at the second free practice session the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix at Marina Bay Street Circuit.

The third free practice session and qualification race will take place on Saturday.

The Singapore Grand Prix is due on Sunday, September 20.
