SOCHI, November 11. /TASS/. Indian Grand Master Viswanathan Anand on Tuesday defeated world chess champion Magnus Carlsen of Sweden in Game 3 of the world title match in Russia's Black Sea resort of Sochi.

Five-time world champion Anand who lost his title to Carlsen in 2013 seized the victory at the 34th move after two failures in Games 1 and 2 and managed to restore parity in the 12-game match.

Game 4 will take place on November 12. The winner of the match will be known by November 27.

After the match both grand masters will be offered to play chess with a robot designed by Russian engineer Konstantin Kostenyuk, the father of former world chess champion Alexander Kostenyuk, a local chess official said.

According to Kostenyuk, the robot made in 2009 has never lost to a human since then.
