Belgian King Philippe to attend Belgium-Russia game at World Cup in Brazil

BRUSSELS, June 18./ITAR-TASS/. Belgian King Philippe plans to go to Brazil over the weekend for attending the game between the Belgian and Russian teams at FIFA’s World Cup championship underway there, the press service of the Royal Palace said.
The game has been scheduled for June 22. The two teams will play be the legendary Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro. It starts at around 16:00 hours GMT.

King Philippe is going to visit Brazil at a moment that is quite tense for his country where talks on forming the government continue between the leading parties of Wallonia and Flanders.
Bart de Wever, the leader of the nationalistic New Flemish Alliance party, is a mediator at the talks and the leading candidate for the Prime Minister’s position.
