Among Russian lugers, best results showed Tatiana Ivanova, who came 7th
SOCHI, February 11. /ITAR-TASS/. German luger Natalie Geisenberger won gold medal at the Sochi Olympics.
Another German athlete Tatjana Hufner came second and American Erin Hamlin came third.
Tatyana Ivanova of Russia showed the best result among Russian lugers (3:22.006) and took the seventh position. Other Russian lugers, Natalia Khoreva and Yekaterina Baturina were eighth (3:22.067) and elevenths (3:22.731), respectively.
Natalie Geisenberger was born February 5, 1988 in Munich. She is bronze winner of the Vancouver Winter Olympics and three-fold world champion (in individuals – in 2013). She is also World Cup winner in 2013 and 2014 seasons. In this season, she won eight cup series. Natalie is also champion of Europe of 2013.
