SOCHI, February 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Tatiana Ivanova ranks sixth after three runs in luge competition at Sochi Olympics. In the third run, she covered the distance in 50.450 seconds, which allowed her gain 2.31,399 seconds in total.
Another Russian athlete Natalia Khoreva ranks eight (50.599 in 3rd run and 2.31,607 in total), and Yekaterina Baturina is 12th (50.629 and 2.32,629).
The best result showed German Natalie Geisenberger, who covered the distance in 49.765 seconds. Another German athlete Tatjana Hufner came second (50.048), and American Erin Hamlin was third (50.165).
Geisenberger leads after three runs (2.29,579). Hufner ranks second (2.30,628), and Hamlin third (2.30,797).
