Abe wished success to Japanese athletes once again
SOCHI, February 08. /ITAR-TASS/. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is currently in Sochi, said he would support the Japanese team whenever possible.
Abe said he intended to watch the figure skating competitions on Saturday evening in which Japanese Mao Asada takes part.
The Japanese prime minister said he was impressed by the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. “Members of our team had flags of Japan and Russia in their hands as a sign of respect for the host country — Russia,” he said.
Abe wished success to Japanese athletes once again. “Tonight Mao Asada will skate. Surely, many Japanese people will watch the competition. I’ll support her in Sochi,” Abe said.
