Sven Kramer sets Olympic record and wins gold in men’s speed skating 5000 m race

MOSCOW, February 8. /ITAR-TASS/. Dutch speed skater Sven Kramer sets Olympic record having run the 5000 m race in 6.10,76 seconds.

He ran against Jonathan Kuck, who ranked 13th (6.31,53).

Kramer ranks first. He is followed by his fellow countryman Jan Blokhuijsen (6.15,71). Another Dutch athlete Jorrit Bergsma ranks third (6.16,66 seconds). Bergsma ran against Norwegian Sverre Lunde Pedersen, who ranks fifth with 6.18,84 seconds. Fourth is Belgian athlete Bart Rene M Swings.

Russia’s Denis Yuskov ranks sixth with 6.19,51 seconds and Ivan Skobrev seventh with 6.19,83 seconds.
