NIZHNY NOVGOROD, October 6. /TASS/. Russia’s national football team tied with Nigeria 3-3 in a football friendly that took place in the city of Nizhny Novgorod in the Volga area.

Lechi Sadulayev (30’), Matvey Kislyak (45+2’) and Alexey Miranchuk (54’) scored for Russia, cheered by a crowd of 40,126 spectators.

Kelechi Iheanacho (10'), Osayande Peter Edokpolor (78') and Akor Adams (90'+4') netted goals for Nigeria.

With this game, the Russian national football team snapped a four-game shutout streak. Prior to this, the last opponent to score against the Russian squad was Egypt, in a match that ended in a 1-0 victory for the Egyptians.
