MOSCOW, August 21. /TASS/. Russian weightlifter Sergey Novozhilov won gold at the European championships for athletes aged 15 and under in Pristina, Kosovo.

He competed in the 55-kg weight class, lifting a total of 202 kg (94 kg in the snatch; 108 kg in the clean and jerk).

Novozhilov is 15 years old. He won the Russian championships for athletes aged 15 and under in the 55-kg weight class.

The competition in Pristina ends on August 27. Russian athletes are competing under the country's flag and to its national anthem.
