ISTANBUL, August 8. /TASS/. Russia's Yegor Gromadsky has won the gold at the 2026 European Modern Pentathlon Championships in Istanbul with 1,606 points.

Hungary's Botond Tamas finished second with 1,599 points, while Italy's Giorgio Malan took the bronze with 1,592 points.

The tournament runs through August 9. Russian athletes are competing under the national flag and with the national anthem.
