WASHINGTON, December 7. /TASS/. Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) artist Petr Yan defeated Georgia's Merab Dvalishvili in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight title fight. The UFC 323 tournament took place in Las Vegas.

Yan won by unanimous judges' decision: 49-46, 49-46, and 48-47.

Yan, who is 32 years old, has 20 wins and five losses in MMA. He is the first Russian to regain the UFC championship title.
