NEW YORK, September 1. /TASS/. Russia’s Andrey Rublev was defeated by Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime in the fourth round of the US Open in New York.

Auger-Aliassime, the No. 25 seed, won in straight sets 7-5, 6-3, 6-4. Rublev entered the tournament as the No. 15 seed.

In the quarterfinals, the Canadian will face Australia’s Alex de Minaur, the No. 8 seed.
