MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Russia's President Vladimir Putin will meet with Russian winners and medalists of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and present them with state awards, the Kremlin press service reported on Sunday.
"On December 16, [Russian President] Vladimir Putin will meet with Russian athletes who became winners and medalists of the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris and present them with state awards," the statement reads.
The 2024 Paralympics were held from August 28 to September 8 in Paris. Russian athletes won 64 medals (20 gold, 21 silver and 23 bronze medals) and took the eighth place in the unofficial overall standings. A total of 171 countries took part in the Paris Paralympics.
