MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. Russian-born unified light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev is eyeing May for his next fight, a source in Top Rank promotion, which represents the Russian boxer, told TASS on Wednesday.
"His next bout is most likely to be held in May," the source said. "We are currently in the process of selecting his potential opponent."
On October 24 in Saudi Arabia, Beterbiev defeated his countryman Dmitry Bivol, taking the WBA belt from him and becoming the unified light heavyweight champion.
Beterbiev currently holds the belts of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Organization (WBO) and the International Boxing Organization (IBO).
Beterbiev, 39, has never lost in his professional boxing career, boasting a record of 21 wins (20 by KO) and 0 defeats.
