MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Russian Premier League (RPL) football club CSKA Moscow has extended the contract of Chilean defensive midfielder Victor Mendez for two more seasons, the club’s press office announced in a statement on Friday.

According to the statement, the 24-year-old Chilean footballer is now signed with the Russian club through the end of the 2025/2026 season.

This season Mendez has appeared in 26 matches for CSKA Moscow FC and has one goal. The Chilean footballer signed with the Russian football club in July 2022 and in the 2022/2023 RPL season he won the Russian Cup as well as the silver medal at the Russian football championship.

Playing for the Chilean national football team, Mendez has one assist in 12 career matches.
