The AIN flag will be stripped of any references to the national symbols
PARIS, March 19. /TASS/. Russian and Belarusian athletes, should they win any medals at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, will be awarded to the AIN (Individual Neutral Athletes) anthem, which has no lyrics, IOC (International Olympic Committee) Director of National Olympic Committees (NOC) Relations and Olympic Solidarity James Macleod said.
"First of a flag for the AIN has been approved and an anthem has been approved. The anthem has no lyrics and has been produced solely for the purpose of the AIN in Paris," he said.
The AIN flag will be stripped of any references to the two countries’ national symbols.
