MOSCOW, January 5. /TASS/. Russian tennis star Andrey Rublev reached the semifinal of the 2024 ATP (the Association of Tennis Professionals) Hong Kong Tennis Open tournament.

Rublev defeated Arthur Fils from France in three sets with 6:4, 1:6, 6:2 result.

Rublev, 26, is currently ranked fifth in the ATP World Rankings and has 14 ATP tournament titles to his name.

He took home the gold at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo in mixed doubles (with teammate Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova) and also won the Davis Cup and the ATP Cup as part of the Russian national team.
