The World Anti-Doping Agency expects Russia to pay $1,267,023 for 2023 to its budget
MOSCOW, December 16. /TASS/. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has not yet received the annual contribution for 2023 from Russia, a WADA spokesman told TASS.
"As yet, we have not received Russia’s 2023 contribution," the official said.
WADA expects Russia to pay $1,267,023 for 2023 to its budget. In mid-November, the global anti-doping watchdog decided to establish an ad-hoc working group after Russia and Belarus refused to pay their annual fees.
Russia paid its contribution to the WADA budget last year in January 2022 and it paid in April 2021 for 2021.
