MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/. The Assembly of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) will convene for its annual session in Moscow on December 15, a source close to the situation told TASS on Monday.

"The 2023 Olympic Assembly will take place on December 15 at the Russian Olympic Committee’s headquarters," the source said.

As the supreme body of the Russian Olympic Committee, the ROC Assembly gathers at least once a year for a meeting all members and executives.

Assembly participants, who have the right to vote, are representatives of the ROC, including legal entities, who are nominated to participate in the Olympic Assembly in line with ROC procedures, as well as individuals who are members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and honorary members of the IOC holding Russian citizenship.

The ROC Assembly meeting is deemed legitimate given a quorum of more than half of the designated ROC representatives, provided that representatives of the constituent Olympic federations make up the majority of attendees at the ROC Olympic Assembly.
