Russian Olympic Committee's four-year budget set at $149 million

MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. The budget of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) until 2022 has been set at 9.9 billion rubles ($149 million), ROC President Stanislav Pozdnyakov said at an Olympic session.

The ROC’s budget for the next four years was approved by the bureau of the executive committee in November. "The financial plan until 2022 was formed on the basis of reliable sources of financing, and agreements with Gazprom and Nornickel," Pozdnyakov said. "About 60% will be spent on funding efforts; 24% are earmarked for the administrative and economic portion, including repairs on the ROC’s floors, 13% are tax liabilities, and a little over 3% are the reserve. Overall, 9.9 billion rubles.".
