Spartak Moscow out of UEFA Champions League after scoreless draw with Greece’s PAOK

MOSCOW, August 14. /TASS/. Russia’s Spartak Moscow FC ended its return UEFA Champions League qualifying stage match vs Greece’s PAOK football club in a scoreless draw to be knocked out of the Champions League.

The match was played at Moscow’s Otkrytiye Arena stadium on Tuesday in front of a crowd of 40,385 fans.

PAOK FC edged Russia’s Spartak Moscow FC 3-2 on August 8 at the 29,000-seat capacity Toumba Stadium.

Now, Spartak Moscow will play in the UEFA Europe League group stage. The draw for the group stage will be held on August 31.
