MOSCOW, April 18. /TASS/. Organizers of the 2018 French Open tennis tournament published a list of participants for the upcoming Grand Slam tournament and it includes Russian tennis stars Maria Sharapova and Andrei Rublev, who will be participating in the ladies’ and men’s competitions respectively.
"The list of participants in the men’s and women’s singles tournaments at Roland-Garros 2018, which will be played from Sunday 27th May to Sunday 10th June, has now been revealed," the official website of the 2018 Roland-Garros announced.
Besides Sharapova, other female tennis players representing Russia at the 2018 French Open, which celebrates this year its 90th anniversary, are Daria Kasatkin (16-seed), Anatstasia Pavlyuchenkova (29-seed), Svetlana Kuznetsova (30-seed), as well as unseeded Yekaterina Makarova, Yelena Vesnina, Natalia Vikhlyantseva and Yekaterina Aleksandrova.
