US’ Chen wins ISU Most Valuable Skater award

The awarding ceremony was held in Zurich on Sunday

MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS/. /TASS/. 2022 OLypmic Champion Nathan Chen of the United States has won the Most Valuable Skater award of the International Skating Union (ISU).

The awarding ceremony was held in Zurich on Sunday.

Other contenders included Olympic Champion Anna Scherbakova of Russia and Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron of France.

Scherbakova, 18, is the 2022 Olympic Champion, the 2021 World Champion, a two-time Europe silver medalist (2020, 2022), and the holder of the 2021 ISU World Team Trophy.

Chen, 23, is the 2022 Olympic Champion and, a three-time World Champion (2018, 2019, 2021), a silver and bronze medalist of the 2018 Olympic Games in the team event.

Papadakis, 27, and Cizeron, 28, are the 2022 Olympic Champions, the 2018 Olympic Games solver medalists, five-time world and Europe champions, seven-time champions in France.
