MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Most Russian sports federations will be able to use their own logos which particularly feature colors of the Russian national flag at upcoming world championships, President of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) Stanislav Pozdnyakov told reporters.

"The majority of federations will use their logos that feature national flag colors in particular. Except for the RBU [Russian Biathlon Union] which as we know continues to dispute it [the restrictions imposed on the union]," he said.

Earlier, the International Olympic Committee announced that Russian athletes at the Tokyo and Beijing Olympics will compete under the ROC acronym and not under the full name of the Russian Olympic Committee.

On December 17, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) partially sided with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in the case against the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) in favor of various sanctions against Russian sports. The sanctions will stay in effect for two years, including the ban on the Russian flag and anthem. Russia is also stripped of the right to hold world championships or bid to host them.
