MOSCOW, January 29. /TASS/. /TASS/. Argentinian midfielder Leandro Paredes left Russia’s Zenit St. Petersburg FC to join French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the press service of the Russian football club announced on Tuesday.
The press service added that the French club signed a contract with the 24-year-old footballer until 2023.

Commenting on Paredes’ transfer Zenit St. Petersburg President Sergei Fursenko told TASS that it was one of the most successful deals for the club.
"I won’t compare this deal with the sale of Hulk and [Axel] Witsel, but it is certainly one of the best in the history of Zenit FC," Fursenko said. "The transfer window is still wide open for us, particularly on the Russian market."
Paredes joined Zenit St. Petersburg FC in July 2017 coming from Italy’s Roma FC. According to Transfermarkt data, the transfer deal of the player at that time amounted to 23 million euros (over $26 million).
