KRASNODAR, December 19. /TASS/. A five-meter house made of gingerbread has been unveiled at Krasnaya Polyana, a popular ski resort near Sochi, the local administration said on Tuesday.

"This is the largest gingerbread house in Russia. It is five meters tall and weighs about 1,000 kilograms," the administration said.

The house will be on display until mid-January.

Last year, local bakers created a record-breaking gingerbread village consisting of 261 buildings.
