An An-2 passenger aircraft crashed while takeoff in the Nenets Region, western Siberia
MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. An An-2 passenger aircraft crashed while takeoff in the Nenets Region, western Siberia, killing two people, acting regional governor Alexander Tsybulsky told TASS on Tuesday.
"There were 13 people onboard, including 11 passengers and two crew members," he said. "Two people were killed and other are in hospital. The tragedy occurred while takeoff."
The plane did not catch fire but its fuselage was destroyed in the crash, a source at the local emergencies department said.
