Heat network accident leaves over 2,000 apartments blocks in Moscow without heating

MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. More than 2,000 apartment houses in Moscow’s eastern suburb were cut of heat supplies after an accident at the heat network pipeline, a source in emergency services told TASS on Thursday.

"As many as 2,065 apartments blocks have been left without heating," the source said.

The accident occurred on Wednesday evening. According to the latest data, three people were taken to hospital.

Local residents told TASS there are no heat in their apartment.

Meanwhile, head of the city’s housing and utilities department Gasan Gasangadzhiyev told journalists that heat supplies had not been stopped.
