The most expensive items sold by the world-renowned auction house, Sotheby's, in a TASS photo gallery

On March 1, Gustav Klimt's landscape Flower Garden was sold for a record price of $59,3 million at Sotheby's. The painting has become third most expensive artwork ever sold in Europe. The landscape trails behind Alberto Giacometti’s sculpture Walking Man I ($104,3 mln) and Peter Paul Rubens’ The Massacre of the Innocents ($76,7 mln).
