Putin tells about his dream, alcohol tests and advises not to neglect personal life
One of workers of a Urals plant asked Putin to help him explain to his little daughter what the president of Russia is. "He is a man who is living and working to make you happy," Putin responded
CHELYABINSK, December 5. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday met with workers of the Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant. Apart from politics and economy, the workers asked personal questions, so the president had to tell them about his dreams, plans and personal life.
To work more
One of the questions asked to the president was how he manages to find time for everything.
"How do you know I can get everything done?," Putin said smilingly. "The more you do the more things you can get done. But too much of a good thing is good for nothing."
The president warned against focusing on work only, saying each person should have time for personal life.
One of the workers asked Putin to help him explain to his little daughter what the president of Russia is. "He is a man who is living and working to make you happy," the president suggested.
The president's dreams
Another worker shared with the president his cherished dream of building a successful career in a span of five year and asked the president about his aspirations and plans.
"I want to finish my career successfully," Putin answered with a smile.
However the president opted to keep something to himself. Thus, when asked about new hobbies he would like to try, Putin answered, "There is one, but I’d rather keep it to myself."
Exchange of 'experience'
When seen about the plant, Putin was told about the practices of testing all the plant’s workers for alcohol. "Would you like to check me?," the president asked. "I have had none today."
"I think it would be expedient to introduce such checks at the presidential administration and the government," Putin said jestingly. "It would do no harm, anyway."
As for healthy lifestyles, Putin noted that he doesn’t smoke and no one smokes in his presence. "There is only one smoker in the government - [Deputy Prime Minister] Dmitry Kozak, and we are failing to persuade him to give up smoking. As a matter of fact, he is a chain smoker," the president said, adding that it is commendable to popularize a healthy lifestyle.
