TOKYO, November 24. /TASS/. Tokyo has seen snowfall in November for the first time in the last 54 years on Thursday.
Snowfalls in Tokyo are far from regular. Last year the first snowfall occurred at the start of January.
At the start of the week, the weather in the Japanese capital was warm, with temperatures of up to 18 degrees Celsius. However, temperature dropped to 4 degrees Celsius in just one day, which is also a rare occasion for Tokyo.
Snowfalls in Tokyo usually lead to serious transport problems.
