MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov plans to take part in the dramatized online recital of Mikhail Bulgakov's masterpiece novel The Master and Margarita that will take place on November 11-12.
"I like this project," Peskov said pointing out the originality of the project's concept. "Also, all of us love this novel from our green years."
Peskov has taken part in similar projects in the past. For instance, in October 2014 he read aloud a fragment of Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina as part of Karenina. A Live Edition project.
Google's multimedia venture The Master and Margarita: I Was There is timed for the 125th anniversary since Mikhail Bulgakov's birth and the 50th anniversary since the first publication of the novel.
The project has the support of Mosfilm Studios. Its uniqueness comes from a combination of two or more images or scenes in one composition and the application of a 360-degree video, which the organizers say will make it possible to the audiences to get to the center of one of the most intriguing episodes of the novel, the Satan's rout.
The scope of readers includes more than 500 people in Russia's eight largest cities and in Tel Aviv, the producer of the recital, Natalya Anastasyeva, told TASS.
Among them one can find the director of the theatrical school at the Moscow Arts Theater, several actors and pop singers, a TV sports anchor, and the President of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina.
