MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. Police special task force to fight drug trafficking has seized nearly 500 kg of drugs in Moscow since the beginning of this year, a deputy chief of drug control department of the city police said on Wednesday.

"Since the start of the year 7,500 drug-related crimes have been registered," Nikolai Arhipov said.

The activity of more than 170 drug dens has been curbed, he added.
