Robinson helicopter goes missing in Russia’s Yamalo-Nenets autonomous area

According to preliminary data, three Robinson helicopters took off for the Bely Island some 500 kilometers from the port of Sabetta on Monday evening

YEKATERINBURG, April 18. /TASS/. A light utility Robinson helicopter went missing in Russia’s Yamalo-Nenets autonomous area, a spokesman for the local emergencies department told TASS on Monday.

"The helicopter went mission near the Bely Island. The information is now being verified," the spokesman said.

According to preliminary data, three Robinson helicopters took off for the Bely Island some 500 kilometers from the port of Sabetta on Monday evening.

"Two helicopters returned to Sabetta due to unfavorable weather conditions. The third one did not check in and went missing. A rescue team is getting prepared to leave for the area of the helicopter’s supposed disappearance," the spokesman said.
