BELGRADE, December 4. /TASS/. Moscow Nights, a 1955 Soviet song famous worldwide, scored a hit to delight OSCE foreign ministers in Belgrade when top Russian and Serbian diplomats sang it for them at dinner, local media reported on Friday.
The meal was attended by more than 40 ministers and delegates to the Organization of Security and Co-operation in Europe event, lasting until midnight, Dnevni Telegraf daily said.
Serbia's Ivica Dacic and Russia's Sergey Lavrov "sang to them the Russian song which Serbs adore", the paper reported, adding that Dacic was first into the refrain, a melody much-loved beyond Russia's borders.
Moscow Nights sang its way around the globe after the 1957 World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow.
