Media says Adolf Hitler’s book will be republished in Germany next year
In Russia, the sale of Mein Kampf is banned as the book incites racial and national hatred
BERLIN, December 2. /TASS/. Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf book will be republished in Germany in January 2016 for the first time since the end of World War II, the BBC reported on Wednesday.
Some 4,000 copies with around 3,500 commentaries of experts will be printed by the Institute of Contemporary History in Munich, according to the report. Public access to the text will be limited for fear of stirring neo-Nazi sentiment.
Mein Kampf (My Struggle) was published in 1925, eight years before Hitler’s takeover of power. The autobiographical manifesto outlines Hitler’s anti-Semitic and racist ideology behind his Nazi regime.
In Russia, the sale of Mein Kampf is banned as the book incites racial and national hatred. The book was included in Russia’s federal list of extremist materials in mid-April 2010.
