Director of Ukrainian Literature Library in Moscow detained after search in library

MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. Director of the Ukrainian Literature Library in Moscow, Natalya Sharina, was detained by the Investigations Committee of Wednesday after a search on the library premises and questioning, a law enforcement source told TASS.

A search held inside the library on Wednesday afternoon exposed the presence there of a big number of publications with highly Russophobic contents. After the search, Sharina was taken for questioning to the Investigations Committee.

"She has been detained for 48 hours and a possibility of authorizing her arrest will be decided on by the court," the source said.

At the time of reporting, TASS did not have any official comments on Sharina's arrest.
