MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. There are some 10,000 Iranian students currently enrolled at Russian universities, President Vladimir Putin told Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

"We also cooperate in the humanitarian sphere. The number of Iranian students in our universities has hit nearly the 10,000 mark," the Russian leader said.

Putin drew attention to the fact that in late September and early October, as part of the festival of Iranian culture, a series of vibrant events were held in different cities of Russia - in Moscow, Kazan, and Astrakhan.
