MINSK, October 22. /TASS/. A humanitarian mission to reunite families from Russia and Ukraine was carried out in a border area of Belarus on Thursday, the BelTA news agency reported.

According to the report, 11 people crossed into Ukraine via the Novaya Guta border crossing to reunite with their families, while another three traveled to Russia.

While in Belarus, members of the group, which included elderly people and people with disabilities, were provided with hot meals before continuing their journeys.
