P. Diddy taken from prison by ambulance with head injury — media
How Sean Combs sustained the injury remains unknown
NEW YORK, October 13. /TASS/. American music producer and rapper P. Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, was taken from prison for treatment of a head injury, TMZ reported, citing sources.
According to the news outlet, an ambulance took Combs from the prison early Saturday morning, presumably to a nearby hospital. He returned before dawn and was conscious and speaking. How he sustained the injury remains unknown.
TMZ previously reported that Combs had been placed in solitary confinement following media reports about his preferential treatment in prison. NBC News said Combs, who is serving his sentence at Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey, spent thousands of dollars a month on privileges. Other inmates cooked for him, cleaned, did his laundry and gave him massages, with payments deposited into their prison accounts.
On October 3, 2025, a New York court sentenced Combs to more than four years in prison for transporting people to engage in prostitution. His defense sought a 14-month sentence, while prosecutors requested more than 11 years. In July, a jury convicted him on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges, which could have carried a life sentence.
