KAZAN, October 1. /TASS/. The lion's share of organizations that were tagged as undesirable in Russia promoted destructive ideas to young people, Russian Prosecutor General Alexander Gutsan said in a report at the 24th meeting of prosecutors general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states.

"Promoting such ideas among young people, which undoubtedly undermine moral foundations, often takes place under the guise of pseudo-humanitarian projects funded from abroad," Gutsan said.

"Notably, 90% of foreign and international organizations whose activities have been deemed undesirable in Russia had a detrimental impact on young people specifically through education and outreach," the prosecutor general stressed.

As an example, he cited Bard College, a US institution sponsored by the Soros Foundation and deemed undesirable in Russia, which "deliberately instilled cultural and moral nihilism among teenagers and systematically created conditions for their radicalization."

"Following our decision, all of its projects in our country have been discontinued," the prosecutor general stressed.
