PARIS, September 24. /TASS/. French actress and singer of Russian descent Marina Vlady has died at the age of 88, AFP news agency reported, citing the actress's family.

Vlady (nee Ekaterina-Marina Polyakova-Baidarova) was born in 1938 in France. She got her first role at the age of 10 in Jean Gueret's movie Summer Storm (Orage d'ete, 1949). From 1970 to 1980, Vlady was married to the iconic Russian poet and bard Vladimir Vysotsky.
