MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. The Russian Justice Ministry has added filmmaker Andrey Zvyagintsev and journalist Mikhail Shevelev to the register of foreign agents, according to information on the ministry's website.

"A.P. Zvyagintsev participated in creating messages and materials for an unlimited audience by foreign agents, as well as organizations included in the list of foreign and international organizations whose activities have been declared undesirable in Russia. <...> M.V. Shevelev spread false information about decisions made by Russian public authorities and the policies they pursue," the ministry said.

Politician Pavel Ivanov, public figure and blogger Yerzhan Turgumbay and the Anarchist-35 project were also added to the register.
