MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. West Nile Fever cases have been imported to Russia in 2026 from Thailand, Mali, and the Central African Republic (CAR), Russian sanitary watchdog Rospotrebnadzor said.

"Among the West Nile Fever cases registered this year, there are imported cases from other countries with high rates of this infection: Thailand, Mali, and the Central African Republic," it told TASS.

According to the watchdog, no fatalities linked to West Nile Fever have been reported this year.
