Russian investigators complete probe into former UK defense secretary
The Russian Investigative Committee stated that Ben Wallace had been charged with publicly calling for terrorist activity and put on an international wanted list
MOSCOW, May 22. /TASS/. Russian Investigative Committee officers have completed a criminal investigation into former UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace over calls for terrorist activity on Russian territory, the committee’s press office told TASS.
"The investigation into former UK Defense Secretary Robert Ben Lobban Wallace has been completed. Investigators established that during the Warsaw Security Forum 2025 conference in September 2025, he called for terrorist activity on Russian territory and for providing Ukraine with long-range missile weapons to strike the Crimean Bridge," the statement reads.
The Investigative Committee stated that Wallace has been charged with publicly calling for terrorist activity and put on an international wanted list.
The press office added that Russian Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin held an operational meeting in Donetsk on investigations into crimes committed by Ukrainian armed formations against civilians and Russian military personnel.
