NEW YORK, December 27. /TASS/. Annette Dion, the last surviving member of the world-famous Dionne quintuplets, has died at the age of 91, The New York Times reported.

According to its information, Dion passed away on December 26 in a hospital. The cause was complications from Alzheimer's disease.

The Dionne quintuplets were born on May 28, 1934, in the Canadian province of Ontario. They are considered to be the first set of quintuplets to survive infancy.
