Innopraktika Opens Its third overseas lecture hall in China’s Hainan Province
The implementation of this project will make Russian culture and language more accessible to students from China and, in the future, help create a unique cultural and educational space
MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. Innopraktika has opened its third overseas educational lecture hall in China’s Hainan Province, the company’s press service reported. Two previous Innopraktika lecture halls were opened earlier in Senegal and Brazil.
“On September 18, the Innopraktika lecture hall was opened on the premises of the Hainan Vocational College of Foreign Languages. The implementation of this project will make Russian culture and language more accessible to students from China and, in the future, help create a unique cultural and educational space,” the press service noted.
The establishment of the lecture hall aims to create an environment where students and other participants can not only engage with Russian culture but also find themselves in a supportive space among like-minded individuals, thereby fostering the expansion of their knowledge and promoting creative development.
The Innopraktika lecture hall in China will serve as a multifunctional space with dedicated areas for learning, reading, socializing, and hosting events. Leading professors from top Russian universities will teach courses in Russian language and literature, Russian history, and Russian theater. Classes will commence this fall and will be conducted weekly in a webinar format.
The agreement to open the lecture hall was signed on June 20 on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) between the National Research University MPEI and the non-profit organization Art-Podgotovka. The ceremony was attended by Innopraktika’s First Deputy General Director Natalia Popova; First Vice Presidents of Gazprombank Andrey Serov and Vladimir Ksendzovsky; Director of Art- Podgotovka Alexey Lebedev; Advisor to the Russian Embassy in China Igor Pozdnyakov; President of the international corporation Eurasia Feng Yaou; and more than 20 rectors of leading universities in Russia and China.
The project to open overseas lecture halls was initiated by Innopraktika in 2022. The first lecture hall was officially opened in in the capital of Senegal, Dakar, in November 2024, on the premises of Cheikh Anta Diop University, and on August 6, 2025, the second lecture hall was opened at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
